I hope all of you had a wonderful summer.  Our Fall Conference once again will take place at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on November 13, 2018 for our morning sessions/lunch only.  We start the morning off with Registration from 8-9:00am, followed by our business meeting at 9am and the election of the 2019 Executive Board Officers.  At 9:30am we will have our first session – OPRA Records, presented by Andrew Ball, Esquire.  Following at 10:45am we have Vital Statistics in Archives, presented by Donald Cornelius from NJ State Archives.  Rounding off the morning will be a presentation by Vincent Arrisi, State Registrar who will be presenting an Ask the State Registrar course.

We will break for lunch at 1pm and have to be back at the Atlantic City Convention Center Room 201-202 for the 2:15pm presentation by Tiffany Drennon who will be presenting Amendments.  We will once again be staying in the same room and continue our final afternoon session at 3:30pm – Working with the LGBT Community which will be presented by Ashley Chippiano (Safe Schools Coordinator) and Aaron Potenza (Director of Garden State Equality Program), along with Robyn Gigl, (Partner, Gluck Walrath LLP).

If you attend all the Sessions, you will earn 5 CMR Credits and 5 CEU’s.  Remember you must scan in and out after each session in order to get credit and as a reminder if you’re 10 minutes late in any session, you WILL NOT receive credit.

I want to take this opportunity to Congratulate the newly Elected 2019 Executive Board members.  I would also like to especially thank Bonnie Brookes, Lynn Minetti , Adrian Scheick, Kathy Heath and Mary Ann Orapello for your dedication and commitment in making this year’s League Conference a huge success.

I want to thank YOU the members for giving me the opportunity to serve as President for the past two years.  Thank you for your confidence, support and friendship.  I am honored and humbled and express my sincerest wishes to all of you for your continued success as Registrars.  May God Bless you always and may God continue to Bless these United States of America.

Respectfully,
